We are so excited to be working on a film production featuring the guardian of the Chisholm Trail, Robert Klemme. This man has a wealth of knowlegde about the Chisholm Trail that we need to gather for generations to hear. When Bob tells the stories he knows, I want to sit down indian-sytle and listen. I feel like a kid listening to Grandpa again!

Anyway, (I'm getting off track here) KJ Productions will be holding a casting call for this film production. Klemme will be telling his story of the Chisholm Trail markers as well as stories that happened along this historical trail as far back as the 1860s. We are planning to tell these stories in a series of "flashbacks," and one key component in introducing the stories is a modern-day family.

We will be holding this casting call to find actors and actresses to portray the members of the family on a road trip. It will be held Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Cherokee Strip Conference Center, 123 W. Maine St., Enid, OK 73701, in the Cimarron Room. The desirable age groups for this casting call are

Male (Son) - 8 to 11 years of age

Female (Daughter) - 6 to 10 years of age

Male (Father) - 30 to 40 years of age

Female (Mother) - 30 to 40 years of age
